I am a MSc. qualified nutritionist, researcher and author of

The Immunity Cookbook.  Also, last summer, I was over the moon to be offered the role of resident nutritionist in the new, revamped television series "You Are What You Eat!" The series consists of six episodes which are now available on Channel 5 catch up, if you missed the series!

I specialise in weight management and gut health with a particular interest in intermittent fasting (IF). Additionally, as a nutrition scientist, over the last two years I  have been involved in working on several academic articles, with my most recent article being published in the journal Nutrition & Healthy Aging. This paper looks at the role of Intermittent Fasting on gut health - 'Intermittent fasting - a potential approach to modulate the gut microbiota in humans?'

Outside of work, as a hearing aid wearer with severe hearing loss, I am committed to raising awareness of hearing loss, and reducing the stigma surrounding wearing hearing aids.
