About me and my approach
Personalise your nutrition, optimise your health
The main force behind my practice is a profound desire to help individuals achieve their long-term diet and nutrition goals. My approach is evidence-based, personalised and empathetic.
Whether you’re seeking help with weight management, gut health issues, or need help supporting your immune system, I work with clients to create a personalised plan they can follow for life.
I am involved in writing research papers as well as writing books, and I am so proud of my book written in March 2020 during the first UK lockdown - The Immunity Cookbook, which is a reference guide as to how best support your immune system as well as providing 100 easy, immune-supporting recipes, which have a little introduction with each recipe as to which nutrients in that particular recipe benefit your gut health and support your immunity.
I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Warwick and a Masters degree in Personalised Nutrition from Middlesex University, and am registered with the Royal Society of Medicine & The Nutrition Society. I am a doctoral researcher and due to complete my PhD in Weight Management & Gut Health next spring.
Outside of work (as a hearing aid wearer with severe hearing loss) I enjoy spending time raising awareness of hearing loss and reducing the stigma surrounding wearing hearing aids.
I also LOVE walking and always ensure I make time to walk daily, as this is my own essential time for physical exercising, but also for clearing my head and promoting positive mental and emotional wellbeing. Walking works wonders for so many different areas of health. My great-grandmother lived to 106, and she walked every day for at least 2 miles till she was 100 - and walked even more miles a day when she was younger!
