How do I book a consultation?

To book an appointment please email info@katelwaters.com or fill out the online form on the Contact page.

What happens after I book my consultation?

After you book your consultation, you will be sent a detailed health questionnaire check and food diary. This is a comprehensive review of your presenting health symptoms, lifestyle and your goals - allow 30-60 minutes to complete. You will also complete a 5-7 day food diary before your consultation.

The questionnaire and food diary must be sent back via email before the initial consultation.

Will my health insurance cover Nutritionist services?

I am registered with Cigna, so if you have Cigna health insurance, you may find your nutrition consultations are covered. Do give Cigna a call and ask!

What forms of payment can I pay with?

You are required to pay 25% of your consultation / package online to secure your booking. If you can cancel your appointment 24-48 hours before your appointment, you will receive a full refund. If you do not cancel in this time frame or less than 24 hours, you are liable to pay 50% of your consultation fee. This is due to the fact that your appointment could have been offered to someone else, and also the clinic exerts charges, which I have to pay if you do not turn up. I accept online payments (BACS) before the appointment, or cash for the remainder of the appointment on the day.

What professional bodies are you registered with?

Kate is registered with the FHT, and is an Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine.
